Welcome to the World to the Sweetest Boy in the Whole World!
Friday February 4, 2011

Well I woke to my cell phone ringing and saying "I'm Angelina, Ha, Ha Ha, That's Funny, Bye!"  I knew it was Tim's cell phone ringtone.  After I answered, still groggy, I got a HUGE surprise.  Marek was already here! What?  We had just seen Marcela and Tim last night and talked about Marek's arrival Monday.  I was kind of shocked but Marcela had told me the night before that he could be coming anytime.  I was so happy that he at least waited till after February 3rd so that he was born in the Year of the Rabbit.  Both me and Uncle Bob are also rabbits:-)  It's the luckiest of all the signs!!

Tim went on to explain that Marcela's water had broke around midnight and she woke him up and told him, time to go.  Tim got ready and then went to get the car ready and Surprise there was ice and snow on the ground.  So much ice he couldn't drive Marcela to the hospital.  Soooooo they had to call EMS, who sent an ambulance and a fire truck.  The ambulance took Marcela to the hospital but wouldn't take Tim and Angelina.  The firemen told Tim not to even try to get on the roads.  They were all solid ice.  So Tim waited patiently at home for the ice to thaw.  A couple hours later Marcela called and told him Marek wasn't waiting.  He was ready to come now. So at 4:56 am Marek came into the world.  He was healthy and happy.  Mommy, despite having a c-section was able to get a few snapshots with her Iphone! Lucky us, we got to see Marek before we could get on the road and meet him.

The roads finally thawed enough for Daddy and Angelina to get to the hospital around 11 and Grandpa and I made it over our hill around 1pm.  We all got to meet this gorgeous new addition to our family even though he didn't arrive quite as what was planned:-)    And I get to tell him, "Welcome to the World, the Sweetest Boy in the Whole World!"

Valentines Day 2011

What a wonderful day.  I have a new Grandson Valentine to love and all the
rest of my valentines are happy and healthy.

I love looking at the new pix of Marek on his webpage.  He is changing
already:-)

I thought it was too funny that Marek and Baby Albert had the same outfit on
yesterday.  Guess it was a Doggy Day!

Happy Valentine's Day Marek.  Always remember-You Are Loved:-)

Love you bunches, Grandma * * kiss kiss
Grandma Blog Feb 20, 2011

Well we had to go to a rabbit show yesterday so we didn't get to see Marek.
But I did get to see pix of him on his webpage this morning.  He's getting
cuter every day.  Lots more silly expressions.  One picture looked like he
was gurgling:-)  Looks like Big Sister really loves and wants to protect
Baby Brother.  See you soon little boy:-)  Love Grandma
